In 7 days temperature drop of over 25°C

It feels like a change from midsummer to winter in one week: On August 22nd, 2023 I cycled at temperatures of over 35°C from my pitch on the Magra in Carrara over the hills to Lerici. Today, August 29th, back in Livigno, it snowed in the hills around me last night. On my bike ride to the supermarket, around noon, I had a temperature of almost 10°C.

The past two days have been characterized by heavy rain. The stream next to the parking space swelled significantly, but fortunately there was no damage.

Last Saturday, the day after my arrival from Aprica, I was able to do a worthwhile mountain bike ride at an altitude of approx. 2700m, still in the sun and warm temperatures, length almost 42km with an increase of approx. 1300m. Many photos of the tour can be found in the Komoot tour description.

In the coming days it should be warmer again with better weather, so that some nice bike rides will certainly be possible.
